Any single moms out there that can offer advice?

I’ve just become a single mum to my 3 month old. Can any other single mothers out there offer me any tips and tricks that can make my life easier? My little girl is very clingy so any tricks you lady’s may have will be grateful received.
Edit: thank you ladies- I’ve just left my abusive partner because I want to give my little one a better life and I don’t want her to see her mum be treated that way no more. I want to be the best mum to her possible! I’m so very grateful for the tips!

I was a si gle mother with my first during my entire pregnancy and the first 4 years of her life.  The biggest thing I had to do was relax.  My heart was broken and I just had sadness and stress leaking out of my pores.  The baby felt this and in turn became more clingy.  Once we got into a routine and I became truly happy in my situation she relaxed a bit.  We ended up having some of the most enjoyable years together.  I am married expecting baby number four with my husband and the time I spent as a single mother is still a fond memory! You got this.

Not a single mom, but my parents divorced when I was two, and the only advice I have is don’t beat yourself up. As long as your babe is loved, that is alllll they will remember. Do your best and that’s it!

I’m a single mom and it gets hard. Sometimes you want that companionship to raise your child and sometimes it’s nice to be able to parent the way you want to. Just know that you’re enough for your baby and as long as you keep your priorities in place it’ll work out. Create a support system of friends and family to help you out and help watch the baby when you need a moment to yourself. Taking time for yourself is important as a single parent and you’ll feel guilty at first but you need to be the best you can be for your little one. It’s all worth it when your little one cuddles and smiles at you after a long day. Keep you’re head up mama. A month from now, a year from now to ten years from now you’ll know you did the best you could and that anything is possible.

Not a single mum. But you would think I am as I take on both parenting roles. What helps me is wearing a sling and carrying him around in that. That way I can still get some things done.
