So my period has been irregular but I have been on birth control but then stopped it and I started it again a month ago. I went to the doctors last week and they called me this morning and told me my hormones are really unbalanced and they think I have polycystic ovary syndrome. I am going to go see a gynecologist. I am just so anxious now can anyone tell me what this syndrome is? Is it cancer? Or is it like life threatening? I am 19 years old, I don’t know why this is happening to me I also thought the first month of birth control could make your hormones go crazy
