Hair dye?

I'm not sure on a good group to ask, but does anyone have any suggestions on a red hair dye that can just go over medium dark brown hair? I don't want to bleach, just a auburn/wine tint to my brown hair.

This is the one I use. It's made for darker hair

I use it to cover over also when I use different colors like purple and green etc.

I highly recommend the Unicorn Hair dye line by Lime Crime. I have dark brown hair and the Sea Witch hair dye in that line is amazing. No bleach or pretreatment necessary. I have long, thick hair and was recommended to use three jars but one covered EVERYTHING so a little goes a long way. My hair was healthier and shinier after use as well. It’s vegan and smells amazing. Just go to the lime crime website and click on hair. Some dyes are more for hair that has been lightened but their are several shades (including a gorgeous red) that are specifically for medium to dark brown hair.

My hair is naturally dark brown and I have been red for 3 years now I go to Sally’s and get 5RR and 10 Developer leave on for 45 mins I was getting it done professionally but can’t afford it anymore so my stylist told me what to get. It’s a little redder then this now. Good luck! Don’t use box color I did that a long time ago and came out with hot roots my roots were pink.

Top picture is my normal color, the other two are different shades of red I’ve tried. Bottom one is the most recent but I haven’t voted it in a while. I used garnier olia. I’ve also use clairol.

You can't go over dark hair.
It had to be bleached

I Ave dark brown/black hair I've tried several different professional hair stylist and due experts I have never had any luck keeping bleached and noble achieve red in my hair.. reds a really tough color to keep.. wish I could help.. if you find anything good let me know!
