Pumping after nursing?

Do you all recommend I pump after I nurse my 5 week old? I’m scared I will get low supply. Right now I am just nursing one breast at a time for her feedings...

Pumping will only up your supply as it ups the demand.

If you can maneuver it I would pump one side as you feed from the other. This can be really hard with regular breastpump flanges, I bought the freemie cups and that works so much better. The more times you empty your breasts the more milk you will make. I would say I have to nurse a little longer if I pump between feedings so maybe schedule a couple days of just nursing and pumping.
