Halloween costume ...

So I was thinking... my period is due the 31st. I'm thinking maybe test a few days early and If I get a bfp purchase a costume (like the skeleton one with the skeleton baby) or something to wear on Halloween to announce it to my hubby and kids and my family (we are going there for Halloween). Should I bother testing early? What other costume ideas would be cute and obvious?
