Induced due to reduced fetal movements?

Question

Has anyone here been induced due to reduced fetal movements?
Can you tell me, was your babies heart rate normal on the monitor? Was it due to signs of distress or just less movements? What 100% made them decide to induce?

My son was induced due to failing three nst test. He went from being overly active to slightly active. His heart rate was okay until I got my epidural and for some reason when ever I would relax and try to sleep his heart rate would drop and nurses would rush in. I was on oxygen most of my labor and was able to push him out how ever each push his heart rate would drop so my doctor gave me s time frame to try on my own and if he didn’t come they were doing a c section luckily I was able to get him out on my own. My doctor wasn’t 100% sure if he was having heart issues st the time or if my placenta was dieing and he came to the conclusion my placenta was dieing off. 
How ever my son came out non responsive and rushed to a nicu team.
