I just came from my 37 week appointment and as usual, my first blood pressure came back high. They always do a second reading and it comes back lower. My doctor said if it happens next week we will be discussing an induction at 39 weeks. Part of me is disappointed because this will be our only child and I'd like to have the experience of doing it on my own. Another part of me is excited that I may see my baby girl sooner than I thought!

I didn't ask my doctor any questions because I don't want to get my hopes up about delivering early, so I'm wondering what others experiences have been? When they say induction does that usually include breaking the water, pitocin or both? Or something I've never even heard of?
