Pre-labor smell?

I never heard of it before, but I've done a little digging, and it appears to not be so uncommon. My husband kept coming up to to me saying that I smell different lol. Well of course I was like, well I just took a shower so I better not stink lmao. He said it's more like the smell right before I start my period. I kinda noticed it earlier before, kind of like an earthy/semon-y smell. Have any of you ladies noticed it? I have started dilating, and baby boy is in position for birth, I've also lost most of my mucus plug. So maybe this is another precursor?
