Selling my eggs?

I'm an incredibly broke college student, and I'm considering selling my eggs so I can afford to stay in college. Has anyone else done this? Is it worth the money? Also how invasive and painful is the procedure? Any info is helpful! Thanks!

I have done it and was an awesome experience.  It is not  fast easy money. Theres a long list of things to qualify and and physicals. Takes time. Once you are picked and matched. Its a lot of appointments to doctor and shots u need to give yourself. The procedure itself is a little invasive takes only a couple of hours its a little uncomfortable after but nothing big:)

There’s a good chance you might not be able to. The guidelines can be strict. Yes it’s invasive. They have to take eggs from your ovaries. I’ve heard it’s pretty painful but maybe you could reach out to a doctor about it.

From one (formerly) broke college student to another, there are a few things you may really want to consider - there is a lot you need physically and mentally to qualify. You also need to consider there will be a person with half of your DNA walking around out there - there can be complications, and there are chances it can inhibit your ability to have your own children in the future. My best friend sold her plasma to buy a bed and mattress in college 😂 similar procedure to giving blood. I don’t remember how often she was going or for how long, but she made a but if money because I remember her bed was over $1,000  😂

I look at my children and I don't understand how you could literally give them away. I mean they are your eggs, your genetics and will always be your children. Will you ever wonder what they look like, if they had a good life and how many children you have out in the world. Will they be able to find you later in life. So many questions. Is the money really worth selling your children.

Be careful because that can cause infertility issues. There are also high standards you have to meet.

You have to meet the requirements that the clinic has. And it’s invasive for sure, you should YouTube it. They have to get your eggs by a minor surgery, it can be uncomfortable after, not painful, but you’ll get cramps
