I just posted about my cats health but I forgot to mention,

I’m moving in with my best friend who adopted a dog a few weeks ago.

I knew she was going to adopt a dog eventually but I thought we would do it together (we’ve had plans to move in together before she decided she wanted this dog). The dog is great though! She’s a beagle mix.

Ive had my cat since he was a kitten and he has grown up with dogs so he is unphased by them.

When he meets a new dog he’ll watch from a distance and if the new dog startled him he just runs away.

The dog however is a shelter dog so we don’t know her background.

We’ve introduced the dog to our other friends cat (i didn’t want to volunteer my own cat lol) to see how she would react and the dog seemed unbothered.

My thing is though I’m worried about introducing my baby to the dog.

Maybe the dog will react differently to him than she did our mutual friends cat.

They’ll be living together so I’m not sure how we should go about this.

I’m installing a cat door on my bedroom door so that my cat will have his own personal area to escape to if he wants but I’m worried for what will happen while we’re at work or something.

Suggestions on how to do this?
