Should I drop a class?

Currently I'm taking 13 units and my English class starts tomorrow and it'll bump me up to 17 units. If I drop my English class I'll be on campus 4 days a week and if I don't I'll be on campus 6 days a week. I don't know what to do....I feel like I need the time to not be on campus but I also feel like I really need to be in class and take all the units. What should I do???

What are your other classes? What else do you do in life (child, work, extra curricular, hobby)? And what’s your goal? By 20__, I want to be __. So its really up to you and how soon do you want things to happen. 17 units is a pretty large load of courses along w 6 days/ week. The more units you take, you’re buying/ saving time long term. Only you truly know your capabilities 😊 If you’re not in a rush for your career, I’d suggest dropping the course. Good luck!

It depends on it you can handle the course load. I am at 19 units and regretting it !

Are you able to handle the load without becoming too stressed? I had to drop a class because I’m about to get married and I had no time to do any wedding stuff, I have to do volunteer work required from one of my classes, and I’m working part time, and looking for an apartment with my fiancé. It was too much and I wasn’t enjoying the wedding planning process and I didn’t have time for anything else because of this one class that I wasn’t even sure why I was taking it. I feel so much better now and I’m able to do more. Next 2 quarters I’ll definitely be doing a full coarse work load, but I’ll be settled in living with my husband. :)
