Cervical biopsy

Hi everyone, l am in my 23th week pregnancy and l am a bit worried about the result of my biopsy. Back in May l had a Pap smear with a high grade abnormal cells results. After a positive colposcopy without biopsy my gynecologist said that she had to refer me to a oncologist/gynecologist so he can have a look and do the biopsy. The oncologist did another colposcopy and he just confirmed what the previous doctor said. He wanted to take a biopsy and he gave me a week to think about it and reschedule the biopsy. After a week l went back and he performed the biopsy. I got the result yesterday saying that the biopsy was negative. That means l have no abnormal cells on the surface of my cervix. He also said that they could not take a biopsy from the canal of my cervix because that could compromise my cervix, so there is a chance that l might have something there. He told me to go back after birth and he can biopsy the canal of my cervix. Anyway, he left me all confused and l don’t understand a thing. Has anybody had a high grade abnormal cells and then a negative biopsy?
