My bf told me my vagina smells 😭😭

First off im so embarrassed but i have been struggling with a BV on and off and for some reason i thought he didnt noticed the horrid smell but...HE DID....Since im in the first trimester my doc said i cant take meds until the 2nd trimester so she told me to get monistat... Any tips on getting rid of a BV and preventing one?
