So my son was born at 35 weeks (premie) and spent a little over a week in the NICU. He is almost 3 weeks but only been home for about a week. How soon is too soon to have him out and about and/or relatives houses to stay?

It’s mostly his grandmother (dads mom) that wants him at her house but I’m a little aggy about it .

He hasn’t even been home for a week. She never ask me if she can get him, always ask her son. Or throws hints but once I go to work she will have him like all the time. I mean am I wrong??

. He is my son and not hers. Same for my mom she got to raise 4 and the his mom got raise 3. They had their turn. 😒 he doesn’t do anything but sleep all day anyway. I need all time I can get to bond with him because once I go back to work she will have him almost 4 days out he week.

She even thought I was going back to work in a month. Was sooo happy until I told her it was 12 weeks actually. It’s like she don’t think I can take care of him and ready to take him out my hands.

I understand it’s her first grandchild but it is also my first child and may be my only child because of health reasons(preeclampsia). 😞 not being mean but if she really wants someone to raise their are hundreds of children who need a lovely home. I need her to stop treating it like “my son’s son” and more like “y’all baby.”
