TTC after the depo shot

I had my daughter in January, she’s now 9 months old. I knew I’d want one more kid when she got around this age to start trying. I’ve been on the depo since after she was born so I’ve had 3 shots. I’ve gained 15lbs and I’m choosing to not get the shots anymore in hopes of trying to have another baby. I’ve been doing some research and everything says it takes months for the depo to wear off and for your normal ovulation to resume and periods. I didn’t know this before getting the shot.(clearly my fault for not researching) my next shot is due November 11th. I’ve heard of people missing it and getting pregnant. Is there a cleanse I can do to help get it out of my body quicker? do I just track ovulation everyday anyways in hopes I may still ovulate? What can I do to help myself here?
