Baby Ointment?

How often do you apply moisturizer/ointment to your babies skin? My son is almost 6 weeks old and I am not sure if I’m supposed to be putting anything on his skin or how often.

My LO has eczema on her feet so we put special lotion on that and other dry areas every day. Aside from that we just do regular lotion once a week or so because it is super dry here.

We only use a special eczema lotion from the dermatologist.

I use diaper ointment “prevention” cream at least 2 times a day and diaper ointment “treatment” only if I notice some redness or a rash coming about.  I moisturize my son at least 2 times a day with the Shea moisture baby raw chamomile and Argan oil lotion.  It’s Organic. I’d recommend the lotion and shampoo & body wash for anyone who wants to use natural, paraben free, sulfate free lotion & wash. It also smells divine. It is about $8.00 for each bottle individually but definitely worth it.

My son is 17 weeks and LOVES bathtime so he gets one every night, followed with lotion 😍

Never. I only use a little shampoo in her hair since she has her Daddy’s oily head during bath time. No lotions or anything either.
