Switching from exclusive pumping to breastfeeding?

Question

My son was born early at 35 weeks on Monday and is being discharged today from the NICU. I’ve been exclusively pumping and he’s been taking the bottles.
I’m wanting to switch to exclusively breastfeeding him. I just have no idea where to start with this. I’ve done a few practice sessions with him and he can latch but then doesn’t suck continuously.
I would appreciate any tips!! Thank you ladies!

See a lactation consultant. 
My daughter was born at 37 weeks but didn’t latch. I had to exclusively pump for six weeks! We were seeing lactation consultants every week for help. Finally when she was 6 weeks old she learned to latch! She was strictly breastfed until she was 15 months old! Don’t give up hope 😊😊
The flipple technique on YouTube (and other deep latch vids helped) along with a nipple shield (Medela makes one).

Offer the breast first, if they take to it. Awesome! If they get frustrated, go back to the bottle. It may take time but you can do it!

They also will take little breaks sometimes when they’re eating. As my lactation consultant said, “it’s a lot of work. They need to take a break and recharge!”
