I hate healthy food
I’ve always had a genuine love for food and even hope to go to culinary school and open my own restaurant one day. I used to work a lot making dishes and delicious meals without having to worry about dietary restrictions and have always found satisfaction in what I made and I never grew up eating processed foods anyways I come from a culture where we usually eat homemade meals along with fresh fruits and vegetables part of our everyday diet. Unfortunately, I had to pay even more attention to my diet after developing a disease and having high cholesterol so I felt that my health was at risk. So like a lot of people I tried to do the “Instagram diet” you know like avocado toast, quinoa, tofu, salads, meal prepping all that stuff you see those models do. And I wouldn’t say the food was “bad” it’s just making these foods didn’t satisfy my tastebuds and I didn’t get the same joy making these foods as I would eating a dish that I’d usually make. I just feel so depressed but I also don’t know if I should continue down this path I just need to find something that works for me I guess
