I've always wanted to be mom. When my husband and I started dating, my then 6 year old step son and I really connected. I loved him like my own child, 6 years later I had my first baby and a year later had my second. Lately I've been feeling disconnected from him and I felt terrible thinking it was because I now had my own blood children. I WAS WRONG! We were disconnected, but not because of the babies... It's because he is a teenager! He got grounded from all electronics this weekend and hung out with me the whole weekend and we had the best time. I'm so glad to know our bond hasn't changed.
