Ladies! And Men! The most embarrassing and distressing thing has happened. I was scammed, i thought i was selling my car and lost over $5000 dollars which now it leaves me with almost nothing! I just can't believe it. I don't want to tell my family or friends cause i feel like an idiot! Tell me im not alone :(

This makes it so much harder to provide financially for my son and our baby we were planning on trying for !!

Update: sorry for being so vague. So i was selling my car on car sales online and this man contacted me saying he's happy with the price and doesn't want to see the car cause he's overseas but its a present for his son. So i was thinking how lovely this man is! Then he said cause he was overseas he needed some help organising a courier which i was happy to help him. So he said he was going to pay me through PayPal and i received an email shortly after from what i thought was PayPal but it was a scam email! It looked so genuine that i believed him !

He then said because he was overseas could i help him pay the courier and then once the funds cleared he would pay me back so i wouldn't be out of pocket.

(I know so stupid) he sounded so genuine and old so i believed him.

Then i received another email from PayPal saying he is depositing the courier funds on top of my sale price.

So i believed him!!! He said just wait a couple days and the funds should clear but it never did!

Then i rung PayPal and they never heard anything about it and the money is gone cause the courier was a scam to!!

Im so stupid
