When do u leave baby to sleep

Like throughout the day in a different room without a monitor?

My daughter is 18m and we still use a monitor. She’s still in her crib so she can’t come get me if she needs me so I want to be able to hear her

Our daughter has been napping in a separate room since she was 4 months and sleeping overnight in a separate room since she was 6 months. She's now 17 months and we still absolutely use a monitor and don't plan to stop anytime soon. I don't understand why a parent would get rid of the monitor, especially at such a young age. That's a huge safety concern.

I havent used a monitor at all if im in the house. I only use it if im outside

I’ve never thought about this before but I’ll probably use a monitor into her toddler years.
Now at 10.5 months I use it to make sure she’s safe. When she’s older I’m sure I’ll use to make sure she’s not getting into mischief 😅
