Christmas for an 8 month old?!

I want to start buying some Christmas presents for my son because I like to get my shopping done early! He will be 8 months old a few weeks before Christmas so i need ideas on toys and activities that an 8-9 month old will enjoy! Or anything that we might need as he gets older!

My daughter will be 6 months around Christmas time. I’m probably going to be buying her toys that have lots of music, colors and light up.

We’re doing pajamas, a book, some kind of musical toy (because he loves making noise and music), and some kind of walking toy. I love a little red wagon, classic.

Walking is not to far out most likely I would do some kind of sit to stand toy or push toy. At  block puzzles and balls were great at that age for my LO.

Our first Christmas we didn't really get him anything (he was 5 months)... Just pajamas and bibs and stuff we needed to buy anyways! He's so spoiled by everyone else that he didn't need more. This Christmas we are doing no toys (from us) and getting a personalized blanket made for him that he can use and grow into. We already have toys everywhere and he just turned 15 months!

We didn’t buy our daughter anything last year. This year we’re getting her books and clothes sinc everyone else will get her toys.
