Whats it like being a boy mommy?

Always pictured to be a girl mommy but found out im having a boy so I'm thinking about all the fun things I'll be doing with a boy. Well, the harder bits too!

It’s fun but they are insane so be prepared. I have all boys, they are a little reckless and like to scare the shit out of me constantly but I wouldn’t change them for the world.

Oh, and they can pee on you easier if you're not paying attention during diaper changes.

I’ve thought about this a lot. A lot. I’m a boy mom, but I wanted to be a girl mom originally. I had a lot of ideas about being a boy mom, especially in the current political and cultural climate. 
Being a boy mom: It’s literally the same. Exactly the same. I am raising him (so far) exactly as how I’d raise a girl. I would never do frilly dresses or hair bows for a girl, cos that’s not my style, so even the clothes are similar to how I’d raise a girl. I plan to avoid most Disney and princesses, barbies, etc. for either sex. I’m teaching him about respect and consent and play and imagination. He is naturally curious and independent, and I am fostering that. I don’t tell him not to cry. I sit with him and talk about how he must feel, putting words and feelings to his tears or rage. I take him to do the same things I would take a girl. I give him the same toys I would give a girl. Read him the same books I would read a girl.
Perhaps it will be different as he gets older (he is 9 months). I don’t know yet. If he has more gender specific interests, I’ll go with the flow. Right now, it’s not different than how I’d raise a girl.

Always have ur diaper ready for changes never leave it uncovered u will be peed on. Other then that it's so much fun. And he will be a dare devil.

Mum of two boys they 3 and 9.. Baby stage- watch out for them peeing on you, when you take there nappy off, stick a baby wipe over there wiener give them a few secs as they always pee when fresh air hits them. 😁👍🏻 make sure you cream up there wiener to as they can get nappy rash under it.. 
toddler stage- get ready to learn every single Thomas tank engine or names of cars & dinosaurs. 😂 and once they start using the toilet watch out for the wet floor as both mine still miss it. 🙄 
Boys love there mummies you will get plenty of cuddles & kisses from them, they so cute tho everyday they both my boys tell me I look beautiful and pretty. They so full of compliments makes this mummy very proud.. 😍

I always saw myself having a boy. They’re a mess, but in the best way possible. My son is only 14mos old so it’s only just begun. He’s so weird (in a good way), silly, loving little boy. He’s into everything and is so ornery. Loves to climb onto and into things. He can roughhouse and loves to do things he’s just gotten into trouble for. Then when you think you can’t take it anymore he comes over and gives you a ‘kiss’ and hugs you. He’s so much fun. Every day is a new adventure with him. I couldn’t imagine life without him.

It’s crazy, messy, chaotic, loud, hectic, energy all the time but at the same time it’s smiles, laughing, snuggles, and lots of love. Boys are nuts and they are disgusting little humans 😂 but they are the best thing that ever happened to me and I love every second with my 3 boys.
