Would you be okay with this?

My boyfriend has a history of drug problems, popping pills, severe depression, loving to be high, etc. I have been with him for 4 years and I know that he loves to be high because he is a vulnerable person with his mental illnesses. He claims to have a really bad toothache and is begging me to take him to his grandma’s to get some morphine. 
Would you be okay with him taking morphine or any other really strong painkiller for a toothache?

No he doesn’t need something that strong... he should only take Advil like a normal person would

a toothache doesnt need morphine or a strong pain killer. that can be resolved easily with regular advil of ibuprofen.

Nope. He can take the usual and go to a dentist. It's rarely that serious that you would need something that strong for it.
Also, is he in treatment? Or wanting to? Because otherwise I'm not sure why you're doing this to yourself. Addict behavior is so terrifying and exhausting.

Whether I was ok with it or not doesn't really matter as it isn't my choice.. but I would definitely not enable him by driving him, and if he chooses to engage in drugs he knows he has a problem with I would be seriously reconsidering my choice of staying in this relationship...
But that's just me..

No. Looks like an excuse. I'm happy to see you're sticking with him through all of this but please stay safe. Just prayed for your relationship and for him to completely heal from this addiction.

No. Morphine would cause more problems like rebound headaches. Give him ibuprofen for the swelling and have him gargle salt with warm water till he can get in to a dentist. They wont do anything with it being swollen so get the swelling down. The dentist can give him 800mg of ibuprofen to help though. Give him 4 of the 200mg from the store to help with the pain. A narcotic will not help him

I would absolutely not be OK with that. You need to go to a dentist when you have a toothache, not get some morphine. When you go to the dentist, they are not going to give you morphine. Morphine is a very serious drug. It is very addictive, it is an opioid. I had morphine twice in my life for pain at the hospital, and because of my addictive personality, I still think about the feeling it gave me 10 yrs later. I loved it. If I allowed myself to have morphine outside of the hospital situation, I’d be an addict. It’s not OK at all.

Only once in my life have I had a toothache so bad that I needed one of my uncles Morphine pills. I’d say give him some Aleve or Ibuprofen or something like that and send him to a dentist.
