I received a call Friday afternoon basically telling me my next ultrasound they are scheduling an office visit 1 hr before with fetal maternal doctor and the genetic counselor due to my advanced maternal age. I'm barely over 35. I've told them several times I don't want that stuff done. My regular ob was ok with my choice. This doctor is basically trying to make me feel like something is wrong to scare me into the testing. However I have literally had about 9 ultrasounds and I feel that if anything was wrong they would have advised or "pushed" before my 20 week anatomy scan which is the day that they are trying to have this consult.

I'm really thinking about canceling the genetic portion of my visit and just showing for my ultrasound. Is anyone else having this problem with their doctor because of age?
