If it was taken after the 5 minute mark it's invalid no matter if it has colour or not. 
Why?
 Because you always have a small amount of HCG in your urine. (>5). When you leave it past the time limit your urine keeps transferring back and fourth over the line and will eventually trigger the line to change colour.
