So me and my boyf got intimate last night and oh lawdddd. The hickey he has left is AWFUL my parents have seen it but I have work on Tuesday and I think all of the little old ladies would pass out of the saw it... I work in a hairdressers so there’s no way I can wear a turtle neck as I wear a tunic:/

First, ice it to help the bruising go down so it’s less noticeable. Then, green colour corrector and concealer, and maybe a scarf or turtleneck if it’s still noticeable.

Can you wear a choker ? Maybe it'd hide a little bit of it and you can also cover with your hair

Color correcting makeup!! There are tons of tutorials on YouTube for using color correctors, and you can even search specific ones for concealing a hickey. I’ve done it before haha. It takes time and patience, but you can get it to where you can only barely see it if you know it’s there!
I use nyx’s color correcting concealer palette, paired with nyx’s liquid concealer in my skin tone and loose translucent powder. Basically, you look at the hickey and analyze what color(s) it is, and start with the color of concealer that’s opposite to the color of the bruise on the color wheel. (Well, really, start with primer so it’ll last longer, then do that concealer.) Set this concealer with powder, then cover it with the concealer in your skin tone. Set THIS with powder, then go back in with the color correcting concealer. Set with powder, go in with your regular concealer, set with powder. Keep going until you’re satisfied with the coverage!

Honestly turtleneck works the best lol. If not maybe a scarf or heavy duty concealer. I’ve heard that if you massage it with a cold spoon (not to the point of pain but you have to use some pressure) it helps it go away faster but I’ve never tried it.
