38wks & getting induced in 8 days!!! What do you have packed in your hospital bag??

I haven't packed but what I learned with my first is to take an empty folder.  You will be given SO much paperwork for you and the baby.  Info on the birth cert, social security, shot card, etc.  Take a folder with pockets.  Important docs on one side, junk docs that you are too scared to throw away just incase you need it on the other side.

I have my hospital papers, birth plan, socks, robe, night gown, nursing bras, nipple cream, maternity undies, travel toiletries, lip balm, moist mouth candy, going home outfit, a pillow and a plush towel. I have a separate bag with stuff for daddy and baby too

People have told me I have way too many outfits for baby but with my first he pooped out of diapers and puked on outfits so constantly had to be changed so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Honestly I’m struggling! I don’t want to pack too much or little lol! So far I have some button up pjs and night dresses, clothes for me and baby, nappies, maternity and breast pads, nursing bras, warm socks, towel, toiletries (toothbrush etc) blankets for baby! Oh and underwear lol

Why are you being induced ? I am 38 weeks 2 days. I packed a separate bag for me and for baby. In my bag I have: 
nursing bras, toiletries, comfortable pjs, nursing pjs, yoga pants, nursing top, hoodie, slippers, robe, nursing pads, nipple cream, hairties, hard candy, dark undies, and a few pairs of soft warm socks. In my bag for baby I packed: two different size going home outfits- 1 newborn and 1 0-3, baby hats, mittens, socks, 3-4 receiving blankets, car seat cover. I also packed my own towel, soap, and cloth diapering supplies for baby as I plan to cloth diaper. :) Hope this helps! Also don’t forget your phone charger!

JUST packed and got our bags in the car today and I’m almost 38 weeks.

For me. Clothes to come home in, something loose to wear there, socks, toiletries, charger. 
For baby. Socks, coming home outfit, blanket to cover car seat

I just packed last night and I’m 36 weeks tomorrow.
I packed for baby: coming home outfit (sleeper), mittens, hat, swaddle with matching hat for pictures, extra onesie just in case.
My husband: t shirt, sweatpants, hoodie, socks and underwear
Me: nursing tank, nursing bra, pjs, underwear, socks, leggings, sweatpants, T-shirt, long sleeve shirt, hoodie
Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, facial wipes, hair brush, nipple cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, loofa, nipple shield, hair ties, nursing pads
Well just grab our chargers when we leave and I think that’s all we need.

I have a bag filled with toiletries, socks, nightgown, baby’s coming home outfit, a swaddle, blanket and some diapers (for me 😜😜) also my wallet with my insurance and ID cards. That’s pretty much it. I packed the same things last time and it was all I needed.
