Did you ever switch schools?

Question

For a math survey. Did you ever have to switch schools throughout your elementary/high school years due to moving or other reasons, or did you stay in the same school all of your career and graduate where you first started?

Ha! Military brat. Went to ten schools by the time I graduated highschool.

My father used to be in the army, so yes, I've switched schools a handful of times.

1. Parents moved because my mom wanted to be closer to her mom and stepfather. (1)
2. An older student assaulted me, my now ex-stepfather went demo happy in a house we were set to move into without consent, and my mother remarried. (2)
3. The apartment had black mold painted over it, which caused my mom to get sick a lot. (3)
4. The place was finally ready to be moved into that we were going to in the first place. (4)
5. The student that assaulted me a year prior had moved to the district. (5)
6. The month to month lease lapsed, and nobody was willing to sign it again. (6)
7. The landlord screwed us and signed mom up for utilities and made attempts to say she was the landlord behind our backs. (7)
8. A family friend offered to have us stay at their second place and pay rent to his mother, which we all agreed to. (8, but it was summer vacation)
9. That same woman decided to sell the place we were living in, and we had to scramble to find a new place. (9)
10. Didn't move out of the district, but we decided against a rent to own agreement that was never really drawn up.
11. Didn't leave the district, but we had to leave the house due to the place not being up to code and also the trauma that came to light.
12. Didn't leave the district, but we were struggling to find a place to live and weren't sure if we'd even stay in the district because we were on Section 8 after the second divorce was started.
13. Sister was expecting a baby, and we moved so we had more room for her kid without leaving the district.

Yeah, I moved around way too much.

I switched schools 3 times in high school. I hated my first high school so I switched half way through 9th grade. Then transferred again junior year (my second school tried to hold me back for my art major and I wasn’t having it). Then I graduated from my last high school.
