What to look for?

Ladies I’m thinking about buying a house and want to know what I should look for? I know I want a big backyard and decent sized rooms. What else??

A kitchen layout and cupboards you like! I hate not being able to organize my kitchen how i want for lack of cupboard space!

Proximity to neighbors is a big one for us. We currently live in town and are not fans. I would prefer not to even be able to see my neighbors’ houses. Definitely don’t want to hear them having casual conversation on their back deck or for them to just randomly drop by with cookies.

Our requirements for our first house to start with were 
-large back yard
-decent property size (1 acre+)
-quiet, spaced out neighborhood outside of town 
-At least 3 bedrooms/2 baths 
-separate laundry room 
-2 car attached garage
-large kitchen, LOTS of storage, and with a food pantry
-open floor plan 
Doing all the house tours helped to give us a better idea of what we wanted in the future as well (2 stories/finished garage/ect) so maybe get a rough idea of what you want, and tour a few houses to get a better idea of what appeals to you and you can narrow down your search based on your desires
