Should I be upset?

My mil told my fiance that we should rush having kids. She has 3 grandchildren currently (5,3,7 monthes) and constantly states she wants no more. I may be pregnant right now but haven't test yet. I'm hurt at her words but I dont wanna cause issues. Should i be hurt?

Honestly, your MIL really doesn’t get to have an opinion on that. Shame on her for ever saying something like that to your and her son. So what she has other grandkids? I’m one of 15 grandkids currently and there still more of us coming lol. You do what you want and what makes you happy! Forget the rest ❤️

My Fiancé’s sister is pregnant and we’ve been wanting to get pregnant. His grandmother and mother are always saying that we have to wait. Well it’s OUR lives and we should live it the way WE want too!

My MIL shouted out "WAIT A LONGGG TIME BEFORE YOU GUYS HAVE ANY KIDS" as my husband and I were leaving our wedding. 😒
We just ignored her because it's not her life and I'm sure she meant well. Plus we had already been legally married for 3 years by the time we had our wedding. Rude.

We were at an in laws wedding and my husbands aunt made a comment about us not being stupid and waiting to have kids. That we needed to travel and whatnot. We were trying at the time and a week later found we were pregnant. I was bothered by her comment simply because it was none of her business. She had one child and that was her choice, she can’t expect others to want the sane things as her. Don’t let those comments bother you, do what you want and be happy with it!

Id just ignore it. Its ya'lls family, not hers and if you are ready, its not her choice. Ive already got 3 kids. Ttc #4. My mom hates the idea of it but we really want it... and his family also isnt on board with it... so what are we doing? Opks, cervical mucus, cervical position,  and baby dancing... they arent the one whi has to provide the stuff the baby needs,  you are. So their opinion doesnt matter
