So, my downstairs hasn’t felt right for weeks now. I went to my OB for my routine check up on the 5th & as a precaution, I had them swab me for any infections because I was having some slight itching down there. Nothing too crazy, but just feeling “off” like some kind of infection was starting. They never called with bad news, which is good news. It’s been 2 weeks now & nothing has changed, but actually gotten worse. The itching has intensified, discharge is becoming more of a problem, and I just feel gross! I’ve had yeast infections before & this doesn’t seem like one. The discharge isn’t thick and white like it has been before. I almost think I could have BV. But wouldn’t they have been able to tell at my last appointment?

I wanted to try to wait to see my OB until my next appt which is the 30th, but I don’t know if I can wait. I hate to have them check again just for them to say everything’s fine & think I’m crazy.

Also, I’ve lost bits of my mucus plug TWICE today at only 27 weeks. I’ve read about BV causing preterm labor & I’m scared! Will be making an appt tomorrow I think. Any thoughts?
