So my twins are full term as of today. They were born at 36 weeks. They have been on sensitive for 2 and 3 weeks now. They arch their backs and are in extreme pain when they do. They constantly (understatement) grunt 24/7. I’ve called their doc and waiting for a call back. There is absolutely no freaking way their pain and constant arching and grunting is normal by any means. I may be a first time mom, but I’ve been around babies and have never seen newborns in so much pain from gas. They poop regularly. I’m hoping the doc calls back with an answer. One of the twins is extremely stuffy at night as well and I read that can be a sign of being allergic to it. I know it all depends on the baby and they are all different BUT anyone out there see a huge difference in switching formulas? Did switching total comfort help or whole new brand altogether? All feedback is welcome. Oh and yes I’ve used both gripe water and simethicone drops religiously and massaged them and did the bicycle run. They don’t have a hard time getting the gas out. It’s just painful when passing through them.
