Did your significant other come with you to your first OB visit?

Did your significant other come with you to your first OB visit? This is my first pregnancy and I’ve never had an OB visit before and I would like my husband to come with me but wasn’t sure jf that was a normal thing to do?

My husband personally wants to come to every appointment. Maybe later in pregnancy when it’s just a regular check up I’ll go without him but so far he’s wanted to come to every ultrasound and dr visit

Yes and I would ask him to come with you because they will be asking you both family medical history.

Yeah, bring him if you want him there. He probably won’t want to come to all of them, but there’s a lot of info the doctor will go over that he might want to hear at the first appointment. They usually go over the different tests and what you need to avoid. It’s good for both of you to hear it. He will want to go to the ultrasounds as well.

My first visit was to confirm pregnancy and I went alone, my second visit was an ultrasound and my husband came to that one
