Craniosynostosis...

So my almost 5 month old has to see a Cleft Craniofacial Specialist as her cranial bones are overlapped and the soft spot on the top of her is almost fused together and the soft spot on the back of her head is non existent. She has a ridge on the top of her head starting at her the tip of her forehead all the way to the soft spot. She used to have what looked like horns just up above her temples but was able to rub those out seeing a chiropractor. A Children’s ER doctor was really concerned about her head. Her head growth is on track which is one less thing to worry about. But, she has her appt tomorrow and I’m scared of the outcome. I’ve read that usually the only way to fix this is with surgery and then a post operative helmet, or trying out the helmet first. Any other mommies had to go through this? I’m freaking out and throwing myself in a whirlwind of emotions...
