Karo for Constipated baby?

Anyone ever try Karo in their babies bottle for constipation? If so, how much do you use?

I asked my doctor about the kyro and she told me she don't recommend that. Has a lot of sugar and could cause other issues. Try a warm bath and rub his belly and then move his legs up toward his belly and do a slow circle. Helped my son when he was about that age.

My baby started more solid food she's 9 months. Her Dr recommended glycerin suppositories. Trust me they work wonders. I had tried prune juice and prunes with no luck. You can get these at Wal-Mart in the baby section.

From what i was told, Karo syrup was made differently many years ago. Because of the changes, it doesn’t really work the way it used to. When my son started getting constipated, I started giving him a probiotic. It helps a ton. He’s 14 months and rarely gets backed up anymore.

Noooo. Avoid corn syrup for your kids. The way it's processed allows contamination with Mercury.

He has a dr appt tomorrow and I’m gonna ask what we can do that is safe. A friend also suggested prune juice to me too. My mother and MIL and telling me Karo. I’ll just wait!
