My DD was born on 9/28 and we breastfed for about 4 days before the cracked nipples and pain was just too much to deal with! So I started exclusively pumping and feeding but that’s starting to take its toll on me also. I feel like I never have time to just hold and bond with my daughter cause when I’m not feeding or changing her I’m either tending to my toddler, our home or on the pump. I need that time with her. I tried to get her back on the boob and she WILL latch but she just has a really shallow latch, I can’t get her to open her mouth wide enough no matter what I do and my nipple has that awkward lipstick shape afterwards. I remember my sister in law telling me about her daughters lip tie so I looked in her mouth and I thought it may look like she has one, what do you think? (She has a dr appointment on fri where I will discuss-but thought I would see what ev one thinks I’m the mean time)
