UTI in the First Trimester?

The DR thinks I could have a UTI as a urine test came back positive for an infection. I have absolutely no symptoms so I’ve had a repeat test done. If the test comes back positive she will put me on antibiotics. Has anyone had a UTI in the first trimester? I’m 5+1 and freaked out it could harm the baby and cause a miscarriage

I had a uti at 10 weeks. I also was worried about the antibiotics but it’s worse if you don’t get it sorted as could turn into a kidney infection. The antibiotics they give you will be the safest ones for pregnancy. 
In the meantime drink lots of water.

I know I got one Saturday I could feel it a little, been drinking tons of water and unsweetened cranberry juice. See the Doctor tomorrow, I feel fine so I pray it’s gone.

I just finished a week of antibiotics. I didnt have any symptoms they found it when testing urine for dehydration. If it were to go untreated a long time it could be a risk because it would progress to bladder/kidney infection but a early uti isn't really a concern.
