My husband is a family guy. It’s one of the reasons I admire him, hell it’s one of the reasons I married him. But I’ve noticed that he loves being around his family to the point where I’m on the back burner sometimes. I get that family is important, I really do. I’ve tried making plans with him, just one on one us time. He doesn’t always follow through with or doesn’t seem interested in the same things I’d like to do. But the moment his family asks him to do something he’ll do it at the drop of a hat, without hesitation.

I’ve brought this up to my husband a few times and we come to an understanding, but then time will pass and things go back to square one. If we’ve already talked this out and it’s not changing anytime soon, what’s the next step? I’m at a point where if he’s not wanting to do certain things with me, I’ll just do it on my own.
