What did your NB come home in??

From Michigan and my baby girl is due December 22. Wondering what I should put her in considering it’ll most likely be snowing? Also does it have to be a two piece because of her umbilical cord or no? Lol ftm here 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

I live for the answer to this question. I’m a FTM, due on December 24th and moving to Michigan in two weeks. Good thing I’ve racked up on sleepers 😅

FTM from Michigan too. I’m going with a sleeper so it’s nice and warm. My brother was a December baby so I checked with my mom and she said that would be fine with the umbilical cord.

We took our first home in a sleeper and plan on doing so with this one as well. Just make sure to have a warm hat and blanket to drape over baby in the car seat

We're in Michigan too, due Dec 26. I'm planning on a warm sleeper/hat and also got a cozy winter carseat cover that I found on Amazon. ❄️❄️❄️

I'm from Germany and we are expecting the first snow next week already. 
I'll be putting her in a sleeper, booties, maybe a little sweat jacket, a beanie, some mitts and then wrap her in a blanket lol

So our hospital has a monitor on their ankle when they are leaving, so with my daughter we were unable to take her home in her “coming home” footed outfit. Luckily we had a back up that she had a blow out in in the car anyways. Haha. It’s an amazing feeling taking your little one out into the world for the first time. 
I will be sure to make footed options and non footed options incase anything changes at the hospital.
