Gender Scan...surprising husband!

So I’m living overseas and I had a scan at 12 weeks and won’t get my anatomy done until week 23...but back home I would have private scan done to find out the gender if I really wanted to, but it’s not really a thing where I am living. However, the private doctor who all of the expats in this city visit told me he would be happy to do a gender scan for me. So my husband is away on camp with student so I sneaky booked an appointment to go tomorrow and find out the gender! My husband wasn’t going to go with me to my last appointment we thought we were finding out the gender so I don’t think he will mind at all...but I’m just crossing my fingers this little one cooperates! I will be 19 weeks on Friday! So excited!

Anyone else surprise their SO or did they come with you?
