Has anyone tried the diva cup?

Question

I saw it at the store and thought about getting it but it’s $40. Is it worth it or will i not like it and be out $40? I know it’s cost friendly in the long run. But how does it feel? And how do you remove it/ insert it? 
All experienced responses are welcomed. Currently i only use pads and my flow is moderate. Not too heavy and not light. Last approximately 5 days

I like it - I bought one that came with a smaller cup for lighter days but that one leaks. The bigger one works perfectly tho. The only problem I have is if I have to change it in a public restroom- I like to completely wash it before putting it back it

I've heard really negative things abt the diva cup specifically, but I've been using menstrual cups from Amazon for a couple years now( and getting more off Amazon) they are really cheap (around $12). While using cups over the years, I never had any issues with random leaking or it hurting in any way. Its weird to use tampons now.

I am an experienced menstrual cup user!!going on 5 years experience with menstrual cups. Ive used 4 different brands/styles of cups. Diva is a firm cup, unlike the others ive bought. For me, this firmness is a huge advantage because i have very tight pelvic floor muscles, and softer cups dont open properly. I have a 3-5 day period light to medium flow, sometimes heavy/thick/coagulated flow one day. I am able to keep the Diva cup in for 6-12 hours depending on my flow. Then dump/rinse/reinsert and leave for another 6-12 hours. My cervix is high, so all cups go further inside for me than id prefer. The Diva has a very short stem, so it is sometimes difficult for me to remove. Menstrual cups take a lot of learning and effort, but i absolutely think they are worth it! Ive never had any pain or leaking with my Diva, i would absolutely reccomend the Diva to anyone in need of a firm but flexible cup. And for beginners, id always reccomend youtube tutorials and reviews for insight. Plus, using the punch down fold with the opening towards the clit as to avoid pressuring the urethre upon insertion!

I bought one on two different occasions and I just cant seem to enjoy it like so many people preach about. I love the idea of not changing it for hours and being reusable without wastes and what ot but I CANNOT get comfortable wearing it. I feel like I have to check it every 10 minutes to make sure it's not leaking and it still leaked a few times (I bought two different types and they both still leaked.) I had a little better luck with diva cup but I could still feel it and I felt it quite a bit when I moved around. After inserting. Reinserting and reinserting multiple times, i just went and got a tampon after a couple days of trying to feel comfortable

I love the diva cup (no longer use t since my IUD made my periods really light) there are a couple different ways to fold the cup to get it in the right spot. It definitely takes practice. You can leave it in for 12 hours which is nice.
