I just had surgery (mini laparotomy) done on 10/10/18 and my Dr. discovered a very swollen fallopian tube and a mass on my left ovary which was a complex hemorrhagic cyst about 5cm in size. A CA125 was drawn during surgery and the mass was sent to pathology for testing and thankfully the blood test was negative for cancer and the pathology report came back as a benign tumor. I also lost majority of my left ovary. My right ovary was the larger of the two cyst at 7cm but luckily it was only fluid. Everything as far a recovery is going smoothly with the exception of the first four days but now 14 days into recovery, I'm having a lot of intense cramping on my right side. My last menstrual was 10/6/18 and based on my cycles my period would be due to come anytime from this Sunday to next Friday. Has anyone had this procedure? Is this to be expected?
