I knew regardless of the outcome I wanted people to know I was pregnant for the first time. I understand waiting until the risk of loss decreases, but that’s not me.

I told my mom and siblings after 2 positive tests 4 days before missed period, and told my dad, a week later, at 4 weeks along. Will be telling everyone else (in laws, grandparents, aunts, uncles) at 9 weeks at thanksgiving dinner.

My in laws and friends:12 weeks.
Rest of the world: 20 weeks.

10 weeks along with immediate family
15 weeks with partners family 
Friends are yet to find out, currently 34+5 days along.

I waited until i was around 20 weeks only because i was at high risk of etopic pregnancy. I didnt want to put my parents hopes up with this being their first grandchild.

I always have and always will tell my sisters and mum as soon as I get a positive test. I normally wait until I’ve had my 12 week scan to let everyone else know though
