Do you think that we as people have expectations that others know what we’re doing or going through?(read description for further explanation)
So to further explain my question the topic came to me when I saw my grandmother was mad at my mom for having to come up to my moms when she had a busy week and had a doctors appointment with my grandfather the same day, however my mom didn’t know this. So I’ve seen my mom, grandmother, other people, and probably at times myself (I try not to) have an expectation that someone knows what we’re going through or get mad at people or annoyed when the other person doesn’t really know because we haven’t vocalized those things. This isn’t about not being able to empathize or sympathize it’s about not communicating and expecting people to be mind readers, I also this a lot with political issues as well a lot of people have expectations to understand a topic or feeling someone has and how is that person supposed to know if they aren’t explained. Do you think that we as people do this? Have you seen yourself or someone else do this? If so what do you some solutions are for this.
