Why worry about it 4+ weeks after getting them done? Just assuming it's been about that long from the grow out.

I’m a licensed nail technician, no you didn’t get what the picture is. 
This is for many reasons:
1. Every nail artist is different. We all use different brands and different products. We don’t always carry exactly what is in the picture. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. 
2. We aren’t the original nail artist. If you want the exact picture, you have to go to that exact artist. You have to expect some differences.
3. You get what you pay for. The quality difference between products is huge.
4. You probably got them done at a “chop shop”, which most likely used MMA (not FDA approved for the use on nails) instead of EMA (FDA approved for the use on nails and expensive). That makes quite a difference in look and quality. 
Also ... the first set is most likely sculpted, not tips, probably took about 2 hours to complete, not 45 minutes. 
Your other question about paying. I probably wouldn’t, because it’s not close to the quality of the first image. I would have spoken to a manager and have them removed properly (not ripped off with clippers and nail tips).

When you’re getting acrylics done tell them you want it thin and flat. Otherwise they turn out bulky like yours did. These are mine, just a few examples of getting them thinner and flat

If I showed this specific picture and they did what you got I would have stopped them and showed them the picture again and said "this is what I would like done please, instead." I wouldn't just let them give me whatever they want when I asked for something else and then just deal with it and pay and go home. They did put all the time and supplies into doing all the other nails so of course I would pay, I just wouldn't pay or leave until they did what I asked for.

You walked out of the shop. There’s nothing you can do four weeks later. I learned the hard way with a bad dye job- they wouldn’t fix it becuase I “took to long”. But they told me I had to wait for the filler to fade.

I personally don’t like acrylics. They ruin your nails and are incredibly painful to get on. I tried them once and never again. You could just grow your nails out and paint them
