IUI or IVF

Been TTC for several months. I had irregular periods so was referred to a fertility clinic. Hubby had two semen analysis (the second coming back slightly better). Low sperm count (about 7 million) but motility and morphology within normal range. Hubby referred to urologist. No issues with blood work. Didn’t recommend medicine. Said we could do IUI or IVF. IUI may work after washing the sperm.

I’m really torn on what to do. Anyone have success stories with iui, had their significant other have similar numbers, or needed to decide between iui and ivf? I really appreciate your honest experience!
