Every year my husband’s job puts on a Halloween event for the kids. It’s specially for kids but everyone can go obviously. They have kids music playing, a trunk or treat and a little maze set up with buckets of candy all throughout. It’s really cute and fun.

We went last year when my son was itty bitty and he slept the whole time. But I noticed that many adults showed up in incredibly creepy costumes and would hide to try and scare little kids on purpose.

I know Halloween is fun and creepy. I love haunted houses and have been to Halloween horror nights a few times. But something is unsettling to me about grown adults showing up to a kids event to scare children.

So what do you think? Is it okay because it’s Halloween and it’s supposed to be spooky? Or is it wrong when it’s really a kids thing?
