So I have a 5 year old son from a previous relationship. My new bf and I have a one month old together. Anyways my sons dad from the previous relationship rarely sees our son as it is. I had plans to finally go out for a few drinks this weekend and grandma who was going to babysit got the flu. So my bf said he would gladly watch my older son for me. Well I asked the ex if that was ok, thinking it would be no big deal because he is a good guy and he knows it. He says no way like he is a terrible person or something. He has never been bad to me or my son. I’m so upset because I have made these plans loooong ago. It also upsets me he even has a say when he NEVER has our son anyways, I’m always the one who has them. I guess I’m just asking for opinions. I’m probably not going out now cause I do have to listen to what he says on a way but I know he’s just doing it to piss me off.
