I have friends with multiple children that said with the next baby they “just wanted to see if they could do it” 😳 uh na.. no thank you lol you’re not more of a mom or a woman because you did it without medication 😂
I want it to go as smoothly and painless as possible

I did all natural, no pain killers with my first. Lemme tell ya, I WILL NOT BE DOING THAT AGAIN. 😂😂

Since this will be my first child I don’t know what to expect I’m just keeping my mind open and I’ll see how I feel. I’ve read many birth stories and heard others opinions, but everyone’s labor experience is different so I will decide for myself when I get there.

I am looking into a birthing center to deliver at. So, unmedicated. I have a lot of personal reasons for wanting to go unmedicated this time. I didn't last time. I begged as soon as I got there for them to help me and they said "oh, do you want the epidural?" I was desperate and they didn't offer any natural ways to help me through, so I just said yes. This time I plan to prepare better and I won't have a choice. Would honestly prefer to have a home birth but we rent lol.

I had my daughter at home with no pain medicine whatsoever and honestly it was awesome. I barely remember it because it was so normal and not traumatic at all. Yeah it hurts occasionally but I just surrendered to it and tried to not lean in to the suffering and it truly wasn’t bad at all and I had pretty much no recovery time other than the usual postpartum bleeding. Definitely planning to have my next baby at home.

Nope.  Didnt with my first, and not with this one....have you seen that needle??? Lol.  I found labor totally manageable naturally

Am I the only one that decides whatever happens happens? No need to set up a "plan" when you don't truly know what will happen.

My first kiddo (15 months ago) I wanted to go without... But after being up 24 hours, not eating 12+ hours, and being so physically drained from 100% back labor.... I finally got it at 8 cm and could actually sit still and relax. I was glad I was able to experience labor, but thankful for it!!

When I got pregnant with my first I was totally not interested in an epidural for the whole pregnancy and then labor hit. 530 am my first contraction was already painful it was back labor. I made the mistake of going right to the hospital at 630 am. Since I was already 4 days overdue they kept me and put me on the fetal heart beat monitor and contraction monitor which meant I was stuck in bed. By 3:30 pm the contractions were back to back and super painful. I hadn't been allowed to get up the whole time so when she said I could now have pain management if I wanted I was like what do you got? She had told me they could give me a shot but that it would make me feel drunk and just take the edge off and I could only have one more shot after that. It would last only an hour probably. I said I will take the epidural please. Epidural was done 15 minutes later and I was pain free all the way through the birth and pushing and crowning. I had my daughter at 230 am so that would have been a lot of pain for a long time. With my son I got the epidural as well and probably will with this one too. Sorry for the long story!
